On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:29 pm, Lynnhaven Mall Security Officer Aaron Robinson encountered a customer in the food court choking on food. He quickly notified dispatch and performed abdominal thrusts on the customer. He was able to dislodge the obstruction successfully, and after a few minutes of recovery, the customer walked away on his own with no injuries. Officer Robinson resorted to his training and experience and successfully saved a life that day. A job well done!
