This year there will be 2 different enrollment periods. The United Health Care Open Enrollment for the Salary staff begins November 27th and goes through December 6th. The American Worker Open Enrollment (for non salary staff) begins November 20th and goes through November 29th.
Please note:
Regarding United Health Care, the plan options will remain the same for next year and you will actually see some decreases in premium. However, UHC current coverage from 2023 is not rolling over as it has in previous years. Everyone is required to log on to Employee Navigator once OE begins and either elect or waive coverage. Please be sure to follow the instruction and log on to Employee Navigator once prompted. We will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday November 28th to discuss the plan options, so anyone looking to enroll for the first time will want to try and attend. More information about the webinar will follow as we get closer.Â
The American Worker Open Enrollment (for non salary works) begins November 20th and goes through November 29th. Regarding American Worker, the plan options will also remain the same however coverages will rollover and those who do not want to make changes do not have to take any action. Minimal Essential Coverage (MEC) and Indemnity plans are available to the Salary staff through American Worker. If you wish to enroll in those options, you must do so during the appropriate enrollment window (11/20-11/29). American Worker will send out communication to all Full-time eligible hourly staff via postcards and emails. No one is auto enrolled in the American Worker plan during OE. That only occurs during the new hire period. Â
