10/17/23, Security Sergeant Lawrence Drescher, III, of the Oglethorpe Mall Security Team in Savannah, GA, was recognized as the 2022 Andy Frain Services Officer of the Year! His certificate reads as follows:
“For excellence in the performance of duties, unyielding commitment to ensuring the safety of the public, and being a shining example of Andy Frain Services’ Core Values of Courtesy, Dignity, and Respect, and at the behest of the Vice President of the Retail Division, Sergeant Drescher has been selected as the Officer of the Year on this 17th day of October 2023.”
In addition to his certificate, Sergeant Drescher received a plaque, a monetary reward, and a challenge coin, which were presented to him by Andy Frain Services Retail Vice President Stan Parton and Andy Frain Services Southeast Regional Manager Demetria Johnson!
An excerpt from Sergeant Drescher’s nomination letter displays what made him “stand out from the crowd”, leading to him being selected. It says, in part:
“…former-Officer Drescher was promoted to shift Sergeant at the beginning of 2023. Since his promotion, he has collaborated with his fellow Sergeants to make vast improvements to the Public Safety Department, including reorganizing the Security and Dispatch Offices, improving the filing system, and, possibly the most important: being an example for his subordinates to follow. Now more than ever, the Public Safety Team is productive, efficient, and resembles a family – and this is, in part, the doing of Sergeant Drescher!”
