Employee Spotlight: Break-In Prevented at Minute Maid Park.

At around 2 on March 4th, at Union Station Cafe at  Minute Maid Park experienced a break-in. The perpetrator, a male individual, forcibly entered by hurling a rock through the glass door.

Upon detection via surveillance cameras, Sam Colson, the First Base Security Officer, swiftly mobilized Security 1 – OD Van Duren and Security 3 – Jarvis Fenner. The intruder was promptly apprehended by our overnight security team comprised of OD and Jarvis, before being handed over to HPD custody. Temporary repairs were made to the damaged door by our overnight Engineer using cardboard and tape, with ongoing surveillance conducted throughout the morning to forestall any further breaches.

Despite the occasional inevitability of such incidents, the response, communication, and documentation were commendable.
